How are “Latest Businesses” selected?

The “Latest Business” selection is constantly improving to show you up and coming popular businesses in your city. The algorithm looks at how recently the business opened. 

Please note that the “Latest Business” selection is automated, so businesses cannot request or pay to be featured and they do not have to advertise with Reviewbah.

How can I change the name on my user account?

To change the name on your user account

  1. Go to the Account Settings section of your account
  2. Click Edit Profile
  3. Enter the new name you’d like to use
  4. Click Save Changes

Please keep in mind that promotional or offensive usernames aren’t allowed and using one may result in the closure of your account.

How can I change the primary location?

You can change the primary location on the app

  1. Tap Location
  2. Select the name of the city

Please note that to use your current location, you may need to enable Location Services. 

How can I bookmark or save businesses that I’d like to review or try?

You can use the bookmark feature to save and keep track of great local businesses on Reviewbah so you can easily find them again later. Please note that your bookmarks are now in the Bookmark section of your profile and you’ll need to be logged in to your Reviewbah user account to use the feature.

  1. Find the business page that you would like to save
  2. Tap the bookmark icon at the top of the business page

To remove a saved business, tap again the bookmark icon next to the business.

How do I change the email address I use to log in to my user account?

Unfortunately you can’t change the email address you use to log in to the user account currently.

How do I change the language I use on Reviewbah?

Unfortunately you can’t change the change you use on Reviewbah currently. It is only available in English.

How do I change the personal information on my user account?

To change your personal information

  1. Go to the Account Settings section of your account
  2. Click Edit Profile
  3. Make the desired changes to your account information
  4. Click Save Changes

Please note that you may only change profile picture, name, username, bio, gender and birthday at the moment.

How do I confirm my email address?

To confirm your email address on Reviewbah , you’ll need to follow the instructions that are emailed to you when you sign up. If you’re having trouble locating this message, please make sure to check any email folders or filters you may have set up, and double check that you’re checking the correct email address (for example, you may have a typo in your email address).

If you’ve already tried this, or if you’re unable to confirm your email address, please contact our Support team.

How do I message a business or request a quote?

Message the Business and Request a Quote allows Reviewbah users to message business owners directly with questions about the business or its services – pricing, availability, offerings, or anything else you may need to ask. Depending on the category of the business and whether or not they have the feature enabled, you’ll see a button saying “Message the Business” or similar. Click or tap there to get started. 

Once you have sent a message to a business or a request for a quote, that message will be visible in your Inbox.

How do I personalize my experience on Reviewbah?

You can follow users to personalize your experience on Reviewbah and to help us give you better recommendations. There is a section named “Following” which shows only the reviews by the users you followed. You can edit the users you followed anytime and any users you newly followed will appear under this section.

To follow a user

  1. Find the user that you would like to follow
  2. Tap Follow

How do I sign up for Reviewbah?

The instructions below are for creating a personal user account as a consumer on Reviewbah.

Once you sign up, we’ll send a confirmation message to the email you provided. You’ll need to click the confirmation link in the email before your reviews will appear. Be sure to check your spam folder and any other email tabs if you don’t see this email in your inbox.

If you don’t receive a confirmation message or run into other trouble with your account, please contact our Support team.

  1. Tap Log In
  2. Tap Sign Up
  3. Tap Sign Up with Facebook or enter your name, email address, password, and click Sign Up

How does Reviewbah choose the Review of the Day?

In some communities we feature a Review of the Day (often referred to as the ROTD) on the homepage. The ROTD is primarily based on the amount of views and useful votes, but we also make sure that it’s well within our Content Guidelines and not an off-color rant or rave. Ultimately the ROTD should be a shining example of the thorough and thoughtful reviews that Reviewbah is known for.

Is it possible to combine my user accounts?

You shouldn’t maintain multiple accounts, but if you’ve accidentally created a second account, you can repost content from the duplicate account to your main account. Our Support team can’t merge two user accounts or move content from one user account to another. 

Once you’ve moved your content to the correct account, you should close the duplicate account to remove the possibility that another Reviewbah user or one of our moderators notices your accounts and thinks you’re up to no good. To close the duplicate account, please contact our Support team.

What is a user account?

You’ll need to sign up with Reviewbah by creating a user account in order to write reviews, post photos, or use any of the features beyond searching Reviewbah.

A user account on Reviewbah is for personal, non-commercial use of the website, and should not be used to promote a business, website, event, etc.

We do permit business owners to have personal user accounts, but they cannot be used to promote their own business, nor should they be reviewing other businesses they engage with as part of their own.
